Site philosophy The Entwicklungsagentur Kärnten GmbH (Carinthia Development Agency) has been in charge of the tpv’s overall site management since 2001. The majority of the companies located in the technology park, which now number over 70, are active in the fields of micro-electronics, electronics, renewable energy and geomatics. 3-pillar model The tpv operates according to a clearly defined three-pillar model, which focuses on further education and training, research and development and economics in a single location. The model is designed to maximise the use of synergies, pool resources, network and create framework conditions for constructive communication. - Research and development

Vision: Villach Technology Park Campus Development plans for the future of the Villach Technology Park are already underway: Total area: approx. 35 hectares Total investment: approx. 125 million euros Working and living space for around 4,000 people Period of development: approx. 15 years Two centres (T01 and T02) have already been completed. Site area: approx. 22,000 m² T01 Technology Centre Completion: September 2001 Total rental: 12.000 m² Investment: approx. 11 million euros Orientation: Carinthia University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule Kärnten), research and development with training and research facilities, in addition to various service providers.
